1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
Basi Bezaleli na Oholiabu watatenda kazi, na kila mtu mwenye moyo wa hekima, ambaye Bwana amemtia akili na hekima ili ajue kufanya kazi hiyo yote kwa huo utumishi wa mahali patakatifu, kama hayo yote Bwana aliyoyaagiza.
2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
Basi Musa akawaita Bezaleli na Oholiabu, na kila mtu aliyekuwa na moyo wa akili, ambaye Bwana alimtia moyoni mwake hekima, kila mtu ambaye moyo wake ulimhimiza ili aende kuifanya kazi hiyo;
3 and they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it withal . And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
nao wakapokea mkononi mwa Musa matoleo yote, ambayo hao wana wa Israeli walikuwa wameyaleta kwa ajili ya huo utumishi wa mahali patakatifu, ili wapafanye. Kisha wakamletea matoleo kila siku asubuhi kwa moyo wa kupenda.
4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
Na hao watu wote wenye hekima, waliotumika katika kazi yote ya mahali patakatifu, wakaenda kila mtu kutoka katika kazi yake aliyokuwa akiifanya;
5 And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
nao wakasema na Musa, na kumwambia, Watu waleta vitu vingi sana zaidi ya hivyo vitoshavyo kwa ajili ya utumishi wa hiyo kazi, ambayo Bwana aliagiza ifanywe.
6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
Basi Musa akatoa amri, nao wakatangaza mbiu katika marago yote, wakisema, Wasifanye kazi tena, mtu mume wala mwanamke, kwa ajili ya matoleo kwa mahali patakatifu. Basi watu wakazuiwa wasilete tena.
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
Kwani vile vitu walivyokuwa navyo vilikuwa vyatosha kwa kuifanya kazi hiyo yote, kisha vilizidi.
The Tabernacle
8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
Basi kila mtu mwenye moyo wa hekima miongoni mwa hao waliofanya kazi, akaifanya hiyo maskani ya mapazia kumi; ya nguo ya kitani nzuri ya kusokotwa, na nyuzi za rangi ya samawi, na za rangi ya zambarau, na nyekundu; pamoja na makerubi, kazi ya fundi stadi; ndivyo alivyoyafanya.
9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.
Urefu wa kila pazia ulikuwa ni dhiraa ishirini na nane, na upana wa kila pazia ulikuwa ni dhiraa nne; mapazia yote yalikuwa ya kipimo kimoja.
10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.
Naye akaunganisha mapazia matano hili na hili; na mapazia matano mengine akayaunganisha hili na hili.
11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
Kisha akafanya matanzi ya rangi ya samawi katika ncha za pazia moja, katika upindo wa kiungo chake; akafanya vivyo katika ncha ya pazia lililokuwa upande wa nje katika kiungo cha pili.
12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.
Akafanya matanzi hamsini katika pazia moja, na matanzi hamsini katika upindo wa pazia lililokuwa katika kiungo cha pili; hayo matanzi yalikuwa yakabiliana hili na hili.
13 And he made fifty taches of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the taches: so it became one tabernacle.
Kisha akafanya vifungo hamsini vya dhahabu, na kuyaunganya hayo mapazia hili na hili kwa vile vifungo; hivi ile maskani ilikuwa ni moja.
14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
Kisha akafanya vifuniko vya singa za mbuzi kuwa hema ya kuifunika hiyo maskani; akafanya mapazia kumi na moja.
15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.
Urefu wa kila pazia ulikuwa ni dhiraa thelathini, na upana wa kila pazia ulikuwa ni dhiraa nne; hayo mapazia yote kumi na moja yalikuwa ya kipimo kimoja.
16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.
Naye akaunganya mapazia matano mbali, na mapazia sita mbali.
17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which coupleth the second.
Kisha akafanya matanzi hamsini katika upindo wa pazia lililo upande wa nje katika kile kiungo, naye akafanya matanzi hamsini katika ncha ya pazia lililokuwa upande wa nje katika kiungo cha pili.
18 And he made fifty taches of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
Kisha akafanya vifungo hamsini vya shaba aiunganye ile hema pamoja, ili iwe hema moja.
19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that .
Kisha akafanya kifuniko kwa ajili ya hiyo hema cha ngozi za kondoo waume zilizotiwa rangi nyekundu; tena juu yake akafanya kifuniko cha ngozi za pomboo.
20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
Kisha akafanya mbao za mti wa mshita kwa hiyo maskani, zilizosimama.
21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.
Urefu wa kila ubao ulikuwa ni dhiraa kumi, na upana wa kila ubao ulikuwa ni dhiraa moja na nusu.
22 One board had two tenons, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Kila ubao ulikuwa na ndimi mbili, zilizounganywa pamoja; ndivyo alivyozifanya hizo mbao zote za maskani.
23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
Naye akazifanya hizo mbao kwa ajili ya hiyo maskani; mbao ishirini kwa upande wa kusini kuelekea kusini;
24 and forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two tenons, and two sockets under another board for his two tenons.
naye akafanya matako ya fedha arobaini yawe chini ya hizo mbao ishirini; matako mawili chini ya ubao mmoja kwa hizo ndimi zake mbili, na matako mawili chini ya ubao mwingine kwa ndimi zake mbili.
25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,
Na kwa upande wa pili wa maskani upande wa kaskazini, akafanya mbao ishirini,
26 and their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
na matako yake ya fedha arobaini; matako mawili chini ya ubao mmoja, na matako mawili chini ya ubao mwingine.
27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
Na kwa upande wa nyuma wa hiyo maskani kuelekea magharibi akafanya mbao sita.
28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
Naye akafanya mbao mbili kwa pembe za maskani upande wa nyuma.
29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
Nazo zilikuwa mbao pacha upande wa chini, vivyo zilishikamana pamoja hata ncha ya juu kufikilia pete ya kwanza; ndivyo alivyofanya zote mbili katika hizo pembe mbili.
30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.
Hivyo zilikuwa mbao nane, na matako yake ya fedha, matako kumi na sita, matako mawili chini ya kila ubao.
31 And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
Kisha akafanya mataruma ya miti ya mshita; matano kwa mbao za upande mmoja wa maskani;
32 and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
na mataruma matano kwa mbao za upande wa pili wa maskani, na mataruma matano kwa hizo mbao za maskani zilizokuwa upande wa nyuma kuelekea magharibi.
33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.
Naye akalifanya hilo taruma la katikati lipenye kati ya hizo mbao kutoka upande huu hata upande huu.
34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
Naye akazifunika hizo mbao dhahabu, akazifanya zile pete zake za dhahabu ziwe mahali pa hayo mataruma, akayafunika dhahabu hayo mataruma.
35 And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.
Kisha akafanya hilo pazia la nyuzi za rangi ya samawi, na za rangi ya zambarau, na nyekundu, na kitani nzuri zilizosokotwa; akatia na makerubi kazi ya fundi stadi, ndivyo alivyofanya.
36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood , and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
Naye akafanya kwa ajili yake nguzo nne za mti wa mshita, akazifunika dhahabu; na kulabu zake zilikuwa za dhahabu; naye akasubu kwa ajili yake matako manne ya fedha.
37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;
Kisha akafanya pazia la sitara kwa ajili ya mlango wa Hema, la nguo ya rangi ya samawi, na ya rangi ya zambarau, na nyekundu, na nguo ya kitani nzuri ya kusokotwa, kazi ya mwenye kutia taraza,
38 and the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their chapiters and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.
na nguzo zake tano pamoja na kulabu zake; naye akavifunika dhahabu vichwa vyake na vifungo vyake; na matako yake matano yalikuwa ya shaba.
