1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
Pelekeni wana-kondoo, kodi yake aitawalaye nchi toka Sela kuelekea jangwani, mpaka mlima wa binti Sayuni.
2 For it shall be, that , as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
Na binti za Moabu watakuwa kama ndege warukao huko na huko, kama kioto cha ndege waliotiwa hofu, kwenye vivuko vya Arnoni.
3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.
Lete shauri; kata neno; fanya kivuli chako kuwa kama usiku kati ya mchana; wafiche waliofukuzwa; usiwachongee waliopotea.
4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
Watu wangu waliofukuzwa waache wakae pamoja nawe; katika habari za Moabu, uwe sitara kwake mbele ya uso wake anayeharibu; maana yeye atozaye kwa nguvu amekoma; afanyaye ukiwa ametoweka; waliokanyaga watu wametoka katika nchi.
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Na kiti cha enzi kitafanywa imara kwa rehema; na mmoja ataketi juu yake katika kweli, katika hema ya Daudi; akifanya hukumu, akitaka sana yaliyo haki, mwepesi wa kutenda haki.
6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness, and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
Tumesikia habari za kiburi cha Moabu, ya kwamba ni mwenye kiburi kingi; habari za majivuno yake, na kiburi chake, na ghadhabu yake; majivuno yake si kitu.
7 Therefore shall Moab howl for Moab, every one shall howl: for the foundations of Kirhareseth shall ye mourn; surely they are stricken.
Kwa sababu hiyo Moabu atalia kwa ajili ya Moabu, kila mmoja atalia, maana mtaiombolezea mikate ya zabibu ya Kir-Haresethi, mkipigwa sana.
8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched out, they are gone over the sea.
Maana makonde ya Heshboni yamenyauka, na mzabibu wa Sibma; mabwana wa mataifa wameyavunja matawi yake mateule; yamefika hata Yazeri, yalitanga-tanga hata nyikani; matawi yake yalitapakaa, yaliivuka bahari.
9 Therefore I will bewail with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah: I will water thee with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for thy summer fruits and for thy harvest is fallen.
Basi, naililia mizabibu ya Sibma kwa kilio cha Yazeri, nitawanyeshea machozi yangu, Ee Heshboni na Eleale, kwa kuwa kelele za vita zimeyaangukia mavuno ya matunda yako, na mavuno ya mizabibu yako.
10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting: the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage shouting to cease.
Na furaha imeondolewa, na shangwe toka mashamba yaliyozaa sana; hapana kuimba katika mashamba ya mizabibu, wala sauti za furaha; akanyagaye hakanyagi divai katika mashinikizo; nimeikomesha sauti ya furaha yake akanyagaye.
11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward parts for Kirharesh.
Kwa sababu hiyo mtima wangu unamlilia Moabu kama kinubi, na matumbo yangu kwa ajili ya Kir-Heresi.
12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
Tena itakuwa, Moabu akionekana, na kujichosha kwa kulia juu ya mahali pa juu, na kuingia katika patakatifu pake aombe, hatapata kushinda.
13 This is the word that the LORD hath spoken concerning Moab since that time.
Hilo ndilo neno lile alilolisema Bwana juu ya Moabu zamani.
14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
Lakini sasa Bwana asema hivi, Katika muda wa miaka mitatu, kama miaka ya mtu wa mshahara, utukufu wa Moabu utadharauliwa, pamoja na wingi wake wote; mabaki yake yatakuwa machache sana, kama si kitu kabisa.
