Pharaoh's Doom
1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ikawa katika mwaka wa kumi na mbili, mwezi wa kumi na mbili, siku ya kwanza ya mwezi, neno la Bwana likanijia, kusema,
2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
Mwanadamu, mfanyie Farao, mfalme wa Misri, maombolezo, umwambie, Ulifananishwa na mwana-simba wa mataifa; lakini umekuwa kama joka katika bahari; nawe watoka kwa nguvu pamoja na mito yako, na kuyachafua maji kwa miguu yako, na kuitia uchafu mito yao.
3 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Nitautanda wavu wangu juu yako, kwa kusanyiko la watu wa kabila nyingi; nao watakuvua katika jarife langu.
4 Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
Nami nitakuacha juu ya nchi kavu, nitakutupa juu ya uso wa uwanda, nami nitawaleta ndege wote wa angani watue juu yako, nami nitawashibisha wanyama wa dunia yote kwako wewe.
5 And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
Nami nitaweka nyama yako juu ya milima, na kuyajaza mabonde kwa urefu wako.
6 I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
Tena kwa damu yako nitainywesha nchi, ambayo waogelea juu yake, hata milimani; na mifereji ya maji itajawa nawe.
7 And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
Nami nitakapokuzimisha, nitazifunikiza mbingu, na kuzifanya nyota zake kuwa giza; nami nitalifunika jua kwa wingu, wala mwezi hautatoa nuru yake.
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
Mianga yote ya mbinguni iangazayo nitaifanya kuwa giza juu yako, nami nitatia giza katika nchi yako, asema Bwana MUNGU.
9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
Tena nitawakasirisha watu wengi mioyo yao, nitakapoleta uangamivu wako kati ya mataifa, uingie katika nchi ambazo hukuzijua.
10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
Nami nitawashangaza watu wa kabila nyingi kwa habari zako, na wafalme wao wataogopa sana kwa ajili yako, nitakapoutikisa upanga wangu mbele yao; nao watatetemeka kila dakika, kila mtu kwa ajili ya uhai wake, katika siku ya kuanguka kwako.
11 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
Maana Bwana MUNGU asema hivi; Upanga wa mfalme wa Babeli utakujilia.
12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
Kwa panga za mashujaa nitawaangusha watu wako wote jamii; hao wote ni watu wa mataifa watishao, nao watakiharibu kiburi cha Misri, na jamii ya watu wake wengi wataangamia.
13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
Tena nitawaharibu wanyama wake wote, toka kando ya maji mengi; na mguu wa mwanadamu hautayatibua tena, wala kwato za mnyama hazitayatibua.
14 Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
Ndipo nitakapoyafanya maji yao kuwa safi, na kuiendesha mito yao kama mafuta, asema Bwana MUNGU.
15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
Nitakapoifanya nchi ya Misri kuwa ukiwa na jangwa, nchi iliyopungukiwa na vitu vilivyoijaza, nitakapowapiga watu wote wakaao ndani yake, ndipo watakapojua ya kuwa mimi ndimi Bwana.
16 This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
Hayo ndiyo maombolezo watakayoomboleza; binti za mataifa wataomboleza kwa hayo; kwa hayo wataomboleza kwa ajili ya Misri, na kwa ajili ya watu wake wote jamii, asema Bwana MUNGU.
17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Ikawa katika mwaka wa kumi na mbili, siku ya kumi na tano ya mwezi, neno la Bwana likanijia kusema,
18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
Mwanadamu, walilie watu wa Misri. Wote jamii ukawabwage, naam, yeye, na binti za mataifa mashuhuri, hata pande za chini za nchi, pamoja na watu washukao shimoni.
19 Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
Umemshinda nani kwa uzuri? Shuka, ukalazwe pamoja na wasiotahiriwa.
20 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
Wataanguka kati ya watu waliouawa kwa upanga; ametokwa apigwe na upanga; mvuteni aende mbali pamoja na watu wake wote jamii.
21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
Walio hodari watasema naye, toka kati ya kuzimu pamoja nao wamsaidiao; wameshuka wamelala kimya, hata wasiotahiriwa, hali wameuawa kwa upanga.
22 Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
Ashuru yuko huko, na watu wake wote jamii; makaburi yake yamzunguka; wote pia wameuawa, wameanguka kwa upanga,
23 whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
ambao makaburi yao yamewekwa pande za shimo zilizo mbali sana, wote jamii wamezunguka kaburi lake; wote pia wameuawa, wameanguka kwa upanga, waliofanya utisho katika nchi yao walio hai.
24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
Elamu yuko huko, na watu wake wote jamii, pande zote za kaburi lake; wote pia wameuawa, wameanguka kwa upanga, walioshuka hali hawana tohara hata pande za chini ya nchi; ambao waliwatia watu hofu katika nchi ya walio hai, nao wamechukua aibu yao, pamoja nao washukao shimoni.
25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.
Wamemwekea kitanda kati ya hao waliouawa, pamoja na watu wake wote jamii; makaburi yake yamzunguka; wote pia hawakutahiriwa, wameuawa kwa upanga; maana maogofyo yao yalifanyika katika nchi ya walio hai, nao wamechukua aibu yao, pamoja nao washukao shimoni; amewekwa kati ya hao waliouawa.
26 There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.
Mesheki yuko huko, na Tubali, na watu wake wote jamii; makaburi yake yamzunguka; wote pia hawakutahiriwa, wameuawa kwa upanga; maana walifanya utisho wao katika nchi ya walio hai.
27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
Je! Wasilale pamoja na mashujaa wao wasiotahiriwa, walioanguka, walioshuka kuzimu pamoja na silaha zao za vita, ambao wameweka panga zao chini ya vichwa vyao, na maovu yao mifupani mwao? Maana waliwatisha mashujaa katika nchi ya walio hai.
28 Yea, thou shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shalt lie with them that are slain with the sword.
Lakini utavunjika kati ya hao wasiotahiriwa, nawe utalala pamoja nao waliouawa kwa upanga.
29 There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.
Edomu yuko huko, wafalme wake, na wakuu wake wote, ambao katika uwezo wao wamelazwa pamoja nao waliouawa kwa upanga; watalala pamoja na hao wasiotahiriwa, na pamoja na hao washukao shimoni.
30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.
Wakuu wa kaskazini wako huko, wote pia, na Wasidoni, wote walioshuka pamoja na hao waliouawa; kwa sababu ya utisho walioufanya katika uwezo wao wamefedheheka, nao wamelala hali hawana tohara, pamoja nao waliouawa kwa upanga, nao wanachukua aibu yao, pamoja nao washukao shimoni.
31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
Farao atawaona, naye atapata faraja juu ya watu wake wote jamii; naam, Farao, jeshi lake lote waliouawa kwa upanga, asema Bwana MUNGU.
32 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
Kwa maana nimeweka utisho wake katika nchi ya walio hai; naye atalazwa kati yao wasiotahiriwa, pamoja na hao waliouawa kwa upanga; yeye Farao na watu wake wote jamii, asema Bwana MUNGU.
