1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Bwana akanena na Musa, akamwambia,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering.
Waambie wana wa Israeli kwamba wanitwalie sadaka; kila mtu ambaye moyo wake wampa kupenda mtatwaa kwake sadaka yangu.
3 And this is the offering which ye shall take of them; gold, and silver, and brass,
Sadaka utakayopokea mikononi mwao ni hii; dhahabu, na fedha, na shaba,
4 and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair ,
na nyuzi za rangi ya samawi, na za rangi ya zambarau, na za rangi nyekundu, na nguo za kitani safi, na singa za mbuzi;
5 and rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
na ngozi za kondoo waume zilizotiwa rangi nyekundu, na ngozi za pomboo, na miti ya mshita,
6 oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense,
na mafuta ya ile taa, na viungo vya manukato kwa yale mafuta ya kupaka, na kwa ule uvumba wenye harufu nzuri;
7 onyx stones, and stones to be set in the ephod, and in the breastplate.
na vito vya shohamu, na vito vingine vya kutiwa kwa ile naivera, na kwa kile kifuko cha kifuani.
8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
Nao na wanifanyie patakatifu; ili nipate kukaa kati yao.
9 According to all that I shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it .
Sawasawa na haya yote nikuonyeshayo, mfano wa maskani, na mfano wa vyombo vyake vyote, ndivyo mtakavyovifanya.
The Pattern of the Tabernacle
10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Nao na wafanye sanduku la mti wa mshita; urefu wake na uwe dhiraa mbili na nusu, na upana wake dhiraa moja na nusu, na kwenda juu kwake dhiraa moja na nusu.
11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.
Nawe ulifunike kwa dhahabu safi, ulifunike ndani na nje, nawe tia na ukingo wa dhahabu kulizunguka pande zote.
12 And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.
Nawe subu vikuku vinne vya dhahabu kwa ajili yake, na kuvitia katika miguu yake minne; vikuku viwili upande mmoja, na vikuku viwili upande wake wa pili.
13 And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
Nawe fanya miti mirefu ya mshita na kuifunika dhahabu.
14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them.
Nawe tia hiyo miti katika vile vikuku vilivyo katika pande mbili za sanduku ili kulichukua hilo sanduku.
15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it.
Hiyo miti itakaa katika vile vikuku vya sanduku; haitaondolewa.
16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee.
Kisha tia ndani ya sanduku huo ushuhuda nitakaokupa.
17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
Nawe fanya kiti cha rehema cha dhahabu safi; urefu wake utakuwa dhiraa mbili na nusu, na upana wake dhiraa moja na nusu.
18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat.
Nawe fanya makerubi mawili ya dhahabu; uyafanye ya kazi ya kufua, katika hiyo miisho ya kiti cha rehema, huku na huku.
19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
Weka kerubi moja mwisho mmoja, na kerubi la pili mwisho wa pili; fanya hayo makerubi ya kitu kimoja na kiti cha rehema, mwisho huku na mwisho huku.
20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be.
Na hayo makerubi yatainua mabawa yao juu, na kukifunika hicho kiti cha rehema kwa mabawa yao, na nyuso zao zitaelekeana hili na hili; nyuso za hayo makerubi zitaelekea kiti cha rehema.
21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.
Weka kiti cha rehema juu ya hilo sanduku, kisha utie huo ushuhuda nitakaokupa ndani ya sanduku.
22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.
Nami nitaonana nawe hapo, na kuzungumza nawe pale nilipo juu ya kiti cha rehema, katikati ya hayo makerubi mawili yaliyo juu ya sanduku la ushuhuda, katika mambo yote nitakayokuagiza kwa ajili ya wana wa Israeli.
23 Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.
Nawe fanya meza ya mti wa mshita; urefu wake utakuwa dhiraa mbili, na upana wake dhiraa moja, na kwenda juu kwake dhiraa moja na nusu.
24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about.
Uifunike dhahabu safi, na kuifanyia ukingo wa dhahabu wa kuizunguka pande zote.
25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about.
Kisha ifanyie upapi wa kuizunguka pande zote, upana wake utakuwa nyanda nne, nawe uufanyie ule upapi ukingo wa urembo wa dhahabu wa kuuzunguka pande zote.
26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.
Uifanyie vikuku vinne vya dhahabu, na kuvitia vile vikuku katika pembe zake nne, katika miguu yake minne.
27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table.
Vile vikuku na viwe karibu na ule upapi, ili viwe mahali pa kutilia ile miti, ya kuichukulia meza.
28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them.
Fanya ile miti ya mti wa mshita, na kuifunika dhahabu, kwamba ile meza ichukuliwe kwayo.
29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.
Nawe fanya sahani zake, na miiko yake, na makopo yake, na vikombe vyake vya kumiminia; vifanye vyote vya dhahabu safi.
30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.
Nawe utaiweka mikate ya wonyesho juu ya meza mbele yangu daima.
31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.
Nawe fanya kinara cha taa cha dhahabu safi; hicho kinara na kifanywe cha kazi ya kufua, tako lake, na mti wake, vikombe vyake, na matovu yake, na maua yake, vyote vitakuwa vya kitu kimoja nacho;
32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side:
nacho kitakuwa na matawi sita yenye kutoka ubavuni mwake; matawi matatu ya kinara upande wake mmoja, na matawi matatu ya kinara upande wake wa pili
33 three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick.
vikombe vitatu vilivyofanywa mfano wa maua ya mlozi katika tawi moja; tovu na ua; na vikombe vitatu vilivyofanywa mfano wa maua ya mlozi katika tawi la pili, tovu na ua; vivyo hivyo hayo matawi yote sita yatokayo katika kile kinara;
34 And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers.
na katika hicho kinara vikombe vinne vilivyofanywa mfano wa maua ya mlozi, matovu yake, na maua yake;
35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.
na tovu chini ya matawi mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, na tovu chini ya matawi mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, na tovu chini ya matawi mawili la kitu kimoja nacho, kwa hayo matawi sita yatokayo katika kile kinara.
36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold.
Matovu yake na matawi yake yatakuwa ya kitu kimoja nacho; kiwe chote pia kazi moja ya kufua, ya dhahabu safi.
37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.
Nawe zifanye taa zake saba; nao wataziwasha hizo taa zake, zitoe nuru mbele yake.
38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.
Na makoleo yake, na visahani vyake, vyote vitakuwa vya dhahabu safi.
39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.
Kitafanywa cha talanta moja ya dhahabu safi, pamoja na vyombo hivi vyote.
40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.
Nawe angalia ya kwamba uvifanye kama mfano wake, ulioonyeshwa mlimani.
