¹ But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
Naye Sulemani alikuwa katika kuijenga nyumba yake mwenyewe miaka kumi na mitatu, akaimaliza nyumba yake yote.

² He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof was an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.
Kwa kuwa aliijenga nyumba ya mwitu wa Lebanoni; mikono mia urefu wake, na mikono hamsini upana wake, na mikono thelathini kwenda juu kwake, juu ya safu nne za nguzo za mwerezi, na mihimili ya mwerezi juu ya nguzo.

³ And it was covered with cedar above upon the beams, that lay on forty five pillars, fifteen in a row.
Ikafunikwa juu kwa mwerezi juu ya mihimili arobaini na mitano, iliyokuwa juu ya nguzo; kumi na mitano kwa safu.

⁴ And there were windows in three rows, and light was against light in three ranks.
Na madirisha yalikuwako safu tatu, mwangaza kuelekea mwangaza katika madaraja matatu.

⁵ And all the doors and posts were square, with the windows: and light was against light in three ranks.
Na milango yote na miimo ilikuwa ya mraba, ilivyoangaziwa; na mwangaza kuelekea mwangaza katika madaraja matatu.

⁶ And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch was before them: and the other pillars and the thick beam were before them.
Akaifanya baraza ya nguzo; mikono hamsini urefu wake, na mikono thelathini upana wake; na ukumbi mbele yake; na nguzo na mihimili minene mbele yake.

⁷ Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.
Akaifanya baraza ya kiti cha enzi, ili ahukumu ndani yake, ndiyo baraza ya hukumu; nayo ikafunikwa mwerezi tangu sakafu mpaka dari.

⁸ And his house where he dwelt had another court within the porch, which was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh's daughter, whom he had taken to wife , like unto this porch.
Nayo nyumba yake atakayokalia, katika behewa nyingine iliyokuwa ndani kupita baraza, ilikuwa ya kazi kama hiyo. Tena akamjengea nyumba binti Farao, (ambaye Sulemani alikuwa amemwoa), mfano wa ile baraza.

¹⁰ And the foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
Nao msingi ulikuwa wa mawe ya thamani, mawe makubwa, mawe mikono kumi, na mawe ya mikono minane.

¹¹ And above were costly stones, after the measures of hewed stones, and cedars.
Na juu kulikuwa na mawe ya thamani, mawe ya kuchongwa, sawasawa na cheo, na mierezi.

¹² And the great court round about was with three rows of hewed stones, and a row of cedar beams, both for the inner court of the house of the LORD, and for the porch of the house.
Na behewa kubwa pande zote ilikuwa na safu tatu za mawe ya kuchongwa, na safu moja ya mihimili ya mierezi; mfano wa behewa ya ndani ya nyumba ya Bwana, na ukumbi wa nyumba.

¹⁴ He was a widow's son of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass: and he was filled with wisdom, and understanding, and cunning to work all works in brass. And he came to king Solomon, and wrought all his work.
Naye alikuwa mwana wa mwanamke mjane wa kabila ya Naftali, na babaye alikuwa mtu wa Tiro, mfua shaba; naye alikuwa mwingi wa hekima na akili, mstadi wa kufanya kazi zote za shaba. Akamfikilia mfalme Sulemani, akamfanyia kazi yake yote.

¹⁵ For he cast two pillars of brass, of eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits did compass either of them about.
Kwa maana alizifanyiza zile nguzo mbili za shaba, mikono kumi na minane kwenda juu kwake kila moja; na uzi wa mikono kumi na miwili kuizunguka nguzo hii au hii.

¹⁶ And he made two chapiters of molten brass, to set upon the tops of the pillars: the height of the one chapiter was five cubits, and the height of the other chapiter was five cubits:
Akafanya taji mbili za shaba iliyoyeyushwa za kuwekwa juu ya vichwa vya nguzo; kwenda juu kwake taji moja mikono mitano, na mikono mitano kwenda juu kwake taji ya pili.

¹⁷ and nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars; seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the other chapiter.
Kulikuwa na nyavu kama kazi ya kusuka, na masongo ya mikufu, kwa taji zilizokuwako juu ya vichwa vya nguzo; saba kwa taji moja, na saba kwa taji ya pili

¹⁸ And he made the pillars, and two rows round about upon the one network, to cover the chapiters that were upon the top, with pomegranates: and so did he for the other chapiter.
Hivyo akazifanya nguzo; na kulikuwa na safu mbili za kuzunguka juu ya wavu mmoja, zifunike taji zilizokuwako juu ya vichwa vya nguzo; akafanya vivyo hivyo kwa taji ya pili.

¹⁹ And the chapiters that were upon the top of the pillars were of lily work in the porch, four cubits.
Na taji zilizokuwa juu ya nguzo ukumbini zilikuwa za kazi ya mayungi, mikono minne.

²⁰ And the chapiters upon the two pillars had pomegranates also above, over against the belly which was by the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred in rows round about upon the other chapiter.
Kulikuwako tena taji juu ya nguzo mbili, karibu na uvimbe uliokuwako kando ya wavu; na makomamanga yalikuwa mia mbili, safu safu pande zote juu ya taji ya pili.

²¹ And he set up the pillars in the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called the name thereof Jachin: and he set up the left pillar, and called the name thereof Boaz.
Akazisimamisha nguzo ukumbini pa hekalu; akaisimamisha nguzo ya kuume, akaiita jina lake Yakini; akaisimamisha nguzo ya kushoto, akaiita jina lake Boazi.

²² And upon the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
Na juu ya nguzo kulikuwa na kazi ya mayungi; hivyo mambo ya nguzo yakatimia.

²⁴ And under the brim of it round about there were knops compassing it, ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about: the knops were cast in two rows, when it was cast.
Na chini ya ukingo wake kulikuwa na maboga yaliyoizunguka, kwa mikono kumi, yakiizunguka bahari; kulikuwa na safu mbili za hayo maboga, yakafanywa kalibuni hapo bahari ilipofanywa.

²⁵ It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
Ikakaa juu ya ng'ombe kumi na wawili, watatu wakitazama kaskazini, na watatu wakitazama magharibi, na watatu wakitazama kusini, na watatu wakitazama mashariki; na bahari iliwekwa juu yao, na pande zao za nyuma zote zilikuwa ndani.

²⁶ And it was an hand breadth thick, and the brim thereof was wrought like the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies: it contained two thousand baths.
Na unene wake ulikuwa nyanda nne; na ukingo wake ukafanywa kama ukingo wa kikombe, kama ua la yungi; huingia bathi elfu mbili.

²⁸ And the work of the bases was on this manner: they had borders, and the borders were between the ledges:
Na kazi ya matako ndiyo hii; yalikuwa na papi; na papi zilikuwa katikati ya vipandio;

²⁹ and on the borders that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubims: and upon the ledges there was a base above: and beneath the lions and oxen were certain additions made of thin work.
na juu ya papi zilizokuwa katikati ya vipandio kulikuwa na simba, na ng'ombe, na makerubi; na juu ya vipandio kulikuwa na tako; na chini ya simba na ng'ombe kulikuwa na masongo ya kazi ya kupembeza.

³⁰ And every base had four brasen wheels, and plates of brass: and the four corners thereof had undersetters: under the laver were undersetters molten, at the side of every addition.
Kila tako lilikuwa na magurudumu manne ya shaba, na vipini vya shaba; na miguu yake minne ilikuwa na mataruma; chini ya birika yalikuwako mataruma ya kusubu, yenye masongo kila moja mbavuni.

³¹ And the mouth of it within the chapiter and above was a cubit: but the mouth thereof was round after the work of the base, a cubit and an half: and also upon the mouth of it were gravings with their borders, foursquare, not round.
Na kinywa chake ndani ya taji na juu yake kilikuwa mkono mmoja; na kinywa chake kikaviringana kama kazi ya tako, mkono mmoja na nusu; tena juu ya kinywa chake kulikuwa na nakshi, na papi zao zilikuwa za mraba, wala hazikuviringana.

³² And under the borders were four wheels; and the axletrees of the wheels were joined to the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
Na magurudumu manne yalikuwa chini ya papi; na mikono ya magurudumu ndani ya tako; na kwenda juu kwake gurudumu moja mkono mmoja na nusu.

³³ And the work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axletrees, and their naves, and their felloes, and their spokes, were all molten.
Na kazi ya magurudumu ilikuwa kama kazi ya gurudumu la gari; mikono yake, na maduara, na matindi, na vipande vya ndani, vyote vilikuwa vya kusubu.

³⁴ And there were four undersetters to the four corners of one base: and the undersetters were of the very base itself.
Kulikuwa na mataruma manne katika pembe nne za tako moja; mataruma hayo ni kitu kimoja na tako lenyewe.

³⁵ And in the top of the base was there a round compass of half a cubit high: and on the top of the base the ledges thereof and the borders thereof were of the same.
Na juu ya tako kulikuwa na duara nusu mkono kwenda juu kwake; na juu ya tako mashikio yake na papi zake vilikuwa vya namna iyo hiyo.

³⁶ For on the plates of the ledges thereof, and on the borders thereof, he graved cherubims, lions, and palm trees, according to the proportion of every one, and additions round about.
Akachora juu ya mabamba ya mashikio yake, na juu ya papi zake, makerubi, na simba, na mitende, moja moja kama ilivyokuwa nafasi, na masongo pande zote.

³⁷ After this manner he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one size.
Hivyo akayafanya yale matako kumi; yote yalikuwa ya kalibu moja, na cheo kimoja, na namna moja.

³⁹ And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward over against the south.
Akayaweka yale matako, matano upande wa kuume wa nyumba, na matano upande wa kushoto wa nyumba; akaiweka ile bahari upande wa kuume wa nyumba upande wa mashariki, kuelekea kusini.

⁴¹ the two pillars, and the two bowls of the chapiters that were on the top of the two pillars; and the two networks, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters which were upon the top of the pillars;
zile nguzo mbili, na vimbe mbili za taji zilikuwa juu ya nguzo; na nyavu mbili za kuzifunika hizo vimbe mbili za taji zilizokuwa juu ya nguzo;

⁴² and four hundred pomegranates for the two networks, even two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that were upon the pillars;
na makomamanga mia nne ya zile nyavu mbili; safu mbili za makomamanga kwa kila wavu, kuzifunika hizo vimbe mbili za taji zilizokuwa juu ya nguzo;

⁴³ and the ten bases, and ten lavers on the bases;
na yale matako kumi, na birika kumi juu ya matako;

⁴⁴ and one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;
na ile bahari moja, na ng'ombe kumi na wawili chini ya ile bahari;

⁴⁵ and the pots, and the shovels, and the basons: and all these vessels, which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD, were of bright brass.
na masufuria, na majembe, na mabakuli; hata vyombo hivyo vyote, Huramu alivyomfanyia mfalme Sulemani, katika nyumba ya Bwana, vyote vilikuwa vya shaba iliyosuguliwa.

⁴⁶ In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.
Katika uwanda wa Yordani ndipo mfalme alipovisubu, katika udongo mzito kati ya Sukothi na Sarethani.

⁴⁷ And Solomon left all the vessels unweighed , because they were exceeding many: neither was the weight of the brass found out.
Sulemani akaviacha vyombo vyote visipimwe kwa kuwa vilikuwa vingi mno; wala uzito wa shaba haukujulikana.

⁴⁹ and the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side , and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold,
na vinara vya taa, vitano upande wa kuume, na vitano upande wa kushoto, mbele ya chumba cha ndani, vya dhahabu safi; na maua, na taa, na koleo ya dhahabu;

⁵⁰ and the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit , of the temple.
na vikombe, na makasi, na mabakuli, na miiko, na vyetezo, vya dhahabu safi; na bawaba za dhahabu, za milango ya nyumba ya ndani, yaani, patakatifu pa patakatifu, na za milango ya nyumba, ndiyo hekalu.
